The workspace
Move is a private staff workspace for a moving business. It manages customer requests, quotes, clients, bookings, business email and website performance. Access is limited to administrator-approved staff. All approved staff share the business records, connected mailbox and drafts; Move does not provide a separate private mailbox for each staff member.
Google data and its use
When an administrator connects Gmail, Move can read message headers, sender and recipient details, subjects, dates, message bodies and attachments. Staff use this access to review shared conversations, identify moving requests, import relevant customer and request details into client records and quotes, and send messages and quotes to chosen recipients.
If additional Gmail permissions are enabled, staff can mark messages read or unread, archive them, move them to trash or restore them. These permissions are optional.
Website analytics can include Search Console queries, page URLs and performance totals for the business websites. Optional route calculations send moving addresses to Google Maps to estimate travel distance.
Storage and service providers
Gmail remains the store for original messages and attachments. Move processes email on its server to display it and import relevant business details. Supabase stores business records, shared drafts, send receipts and settings. Gmail connection tokens are stored in Supabase Vault. Render hosts the application.
Encrypted local database backups retain up to 30 copies. This is a number of backup copies, not a fixed number of days.
Information is available to approved staff and to the service providers needed to operate these features, including Google, Supabase and Render. Sending email shares its contents with the recipients selected by staff.
Google Limited Use
Move complies with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements, when using or transferring information received from Google APIs.
Google user data is used to provide the features described here. Move does not sell personal or Google user data. It does not use that data for advertising, credit or lending decisions, or to develop, improve or train generalized artificial intelligence or machine-learning models.
Access, revocation and removal
You can revoke Move's Google connection in your Google Account connections. Revoking access does not automatically delete original Gmail messages, imported business records, saved drafts or existing backups.
For questions or requests to access, correct or remove information held by Move, contact help@move-it.ca. Removal requests must also account for retained backup copies; disconnecting Google alone does not remove them.
Cookies and preferences
Move uses session cookies to sign staff in and stores interface preferences such as language and theme.
